The pig: a great big pink thing of a creature that holds a special place in all of our hearts, even people who really, really, aren’t in to loving animals. For some it’s as bacon (awesome) and for some it’s as the cute oinky thing that roams the farm. But does the humble pig have a more sinister agenda? Is it being controlled for means that would shock and horrify the most of us? According to the post it does, and it’s not appreciated!

Politics, eh? It doesn’t matter what you’re talking about, it’ll have something to do with it. And it’s no secret that for years we have been lulled in to a sense of false security by fun-looking characters who, on the surface, seem to be merely for the entertainment of children. Look at Mr Blobby? Who can look at his great big spotty head and say that isn’t sinister and wrong?!

It’s a dirty game, I suppose, and people will be people. And you really can’t avoid it without literally becoming a hermit. Everyone has walked down the street and felt more sorry for the vagrant with the child, and more than a few have given money to those with a smile that seems authentic.

But, despite all this sinisterness, there are of course good things to be said for lively figures such as Blobby. Nobody can argue that he hasn’t done his fair share of fund-raising, or that his cumbersome stumbling walk and ranting shout of “Blobby blobby blobby!”hasn’t livened up their day a bit.
