An Enigin Education Thing

Thursday Jun 10, 2010

I once went to a trade show when I was a loud, awful and generally irritating child (but show me someone who isn’t / wasn’t?). It was on a school trip, had something to do with camping, and bored us lot to tears. Ever since that day, the words ‘trade show’ have caused my brain to seize up, and my feet to become instantly fixed to the floor (which is odd, considering running the opposite direction is the first thing I want to do). With that in mind you could say I was dubious when I came across this blog post.

Thankfully energy saving masters Enigin know exactly how to make trade shows sound interesting. Read the article and find out what Enigin have in store for us with their new version of their ace invention: the Eniscope.

As an adult I realize that trade shows are a good thing, of course (though I still have my doubts about any that involve camping–). Especially trade shows which promote an awareness of global warming and what we as a people can do to prevent it from doing any more damage. More importantly, they allow the general public meet the people behind the companies, like Enigin, who are playing a huge part in making technology more efficient and less environmentally destructive. This can only be a good thing: more education will hopefully show everyone that each and every one of us are responsible for our own carbon footprint, however small and irrelevant appearing it may be.
